McDonald's Happy Meal: February 2016

Toys, toys, toys... Now that I became a mother, my kids needs (and sometimes wants) mostly gets in with my priorities. Their joy are now my joy. And toys are kids happiness! My kids default fastfood is Jollibee. Most of the time, we wish that they could just abide with us where we want to eat. But we always end up with their choice. Or else, food will come to waste or they will never eat at all. And since, SM City Davao branch is close due to their ongoing store renovation, we headed to McDonald's. I'm happy that we chose to eat there not because of the food but because of the toys included in their Happy Meal.

I'm not sure or remember what they are called but my kids are into fairies now. (UPDATE: They are called My Little Pony Dolls Equestria Girls). Anything with wings and about flying (maybe except riding on an airplane), they just love. Lately, they have been engrossed with the 2015 animated movie 'Strange Magic'. Have you seen it? At first, we don't appreciate it because most of the characters have a beast-like appearance and scary to some. But what they love about it are the songs which they love to sing and even the dialogue and scenes they re-enact. The movie is played several times a day. No wonder they already memorized every song and every conversation and scenes. Even me and the husband can go singing along with them and enjoys watching them acting up. It's a happy and light movie that talks about love. 'Everybody deserves to be loved' is their movie caption.

What I love about McDonald's toys are its durability and quality. I even got their Hello Kitty last year but sadly, have not completed it because supplies run out very fast. So what are you waiting for. Grab now for your little ones and even for the young-at-heart! It's a good collection material.

McDonald's Happy Meal: Hello Kitty and Thomas and Friends

Hello mommies and girls out there! It's been a while after my last post. Been to a lot of busy stuff lately but I'm back to tell you about the latest of McDonald's Happy Meal. I got 2 hello Kitty toys for my little girls. I was ecstatic seeing these when I happen to pass by their store last Monday together with my daghter. Normally, I don't usually give in to my kids pleading of buying toys like that. But being a kid-at-heart too and once a lover of Hello Kitty/ Sanrio/ Little Twin Stars, like any parent, I couldn't resist to the consistent 'please-mama' of my almost 5-year-old tot.

I am happy with what we purchased. Hopefully, these won't break too soon as these are nice Hello Kitty toy collections. If you're an avid collector of Hello Kitty, these are great pieces to add in to your collection now... or you'll regret not getting it.

I'm wondering what are the other 2 HK collection has inside. I'm planning to grab the other 2 Hello Kitty toys in their Happy Meal... hehehe (happy kid inside, giggle!). Anyway, for this Happy Meal purchase we got, I bought the Spaghetti w/ a drink for about P82.00pesos and a 1-piece chicken meal w/ a drink that cost around P102.00pesos. Not bad at all I guess. Four in a Row + 1 Free and more

I must have done something really good to have all the blessings poured out to me. Ever since, as I always say, I am not lucky joining in raffles, contests or giveaways. But I was hopeful. I do believe that there is a right time for everything. We'll never know. You can't have it today. But who knows what tomorrow may bring. And that is happening to me since I first won a raffle prize last December of 2011 and became full blown last year. Good things comes to those who patiently wait indeed. The past few weeks had been full of beautiful surprises. But for this post, I'll be sharing my happiness to you of how lucky I am to have won 3 blog giveaways in a just one week and another one came in this morning as I opened my email. 


For my first winning, I got this beautiful package of Pond's product line of BB creams. It's from the blog giveaway of Ms. Rowena Lei of Animetric's World as seen here. I am super overwhelmed because I am a Pond's user of their Age miracle day cream and their facial wash. I love how it makes my skin supple and glowing. As what I have said in my winning entry, that it gives radiance to my skin while it nourishes from within. I really love the effect in and on my skin. It really does a lot of wonders. Though I haven't tried yet their BB creams, for sure it will have the same effect on me.

I have in my desk gave way already and to think it's not mine.
I was guilty pa because it's my officemate mirror.

Okay, this one is a bonus winning I got from Ms. Lei herself.
I can't be more happier. I've been longing to buy K-Palette.
And now I have it for free. No sweat for me and my pocket!

These stuff are silently adding up to my wish list including the second winning I got from a doctor blogger (which i will have a separate post on), 2 food giveaways in which I won a cake (which I was disqualified because I'm not a resident of Metro Manila) and a perishable food (which I was still negotiating or requesting the host that I'll be able to get it on November pa) and the free one was a bag of Unilever products from a kind hearted person. All of them came in just in time and even more than I ever expected. Even if I didn't get the cake prize but still I am thankful that I was chosen as the lucky winner. Maybe a more qualified person needs that more than I needed it. I am still crossing fingers and hoping for more winnings in blogs and non-blog giveaways in the future. I hope this would not jinx everything but will put on good vibes all the more.

Valentine's treat by Euro Baker

Wow! Can't believe Valentine's day is tomorrow and this post of mine is 6 days late. I haven't tracked the time huh! That's fast. Anyway, you still have 2 days I guess to catch up on this. Last February 8, 2014, Euro Baker in Gaisano Mall (GMall) of Toril opened for the public and I loved that it opens at the same time as the grocery of GMall which is 8 o'clock in the morning. Hmm! What surprised us during we visited last Sunday is that as their Valentine treat to their walk-in customers, whenever you order a cup of brewed coffee, you get the mug for FREE! Yes, it's yours. I was delighted more since it's the Love season, they had their mugs in hearts where you can choose two designs of their mugs. We had this two as our mugs. It's just the other design is out of stock already. 

If I'm not mistaken their brewed coffee is worth 50.00 pesos. Since I asked mine to have milk, the total bill we got is 115.00 pesos. But I don't mind because their serving of the fresh milk is generous enough and their sugar is not the plain one but it's mascuvado sugar they 're using. I love Euro Baker. I love their generous serving and I loved their spaghetti bolognese ever since. Even in GMall in Davao, if I'm craving for some french food and pasta, I'd straight away proceed to their quaint resto. Aside from bread, they have a wide array of meals to choose from. Me and my hubby are now looking forward to do our early grocery as early as 8 in the morning to start our day here in Euro baker, to eat breakfast with leisure. You're Too Good to be True

When the time some regions in the Philippines were battered by the strong typhoon Yolanda last Friday, I was getting good news towards the end of the week instead. How is that naman? It was such a blessing and I am really one lucky person! I couldn't believe that good vibes is indeed paying attention to me. Two months ago I won lots of goodies from Ms. Jackie Go's anniversary giveaway which I blogged it here, here and here and until now I haven't completed featuring each one of them. And now, this is what I saw from Ms. Tiffany of Breakfast at Tiffany blog in her post here. Thank you God for these unexpected blessings! You really know what I need and that is paying attention to the woman that I am. That I should still take care of my self despite being a mother, a wife, a career woman rolled into one.

Prizes Revealed Part 2: Olay and Celeteque

Well as promised, one-by-one I am unraveling the prizes I won from Ms. Jackie Go's blog giveaway which you can view it here. This is the second batch of prizes I am showing you (first part post here). See? It's not only one or two items. It's more than 10 actually (hahaha!). That's how big time, generous and blessed Ms. Jackie of GoJackieGo is. And I'm so lucky to have won these items from her.

I'm a fan of Olay Total effects (side by side Pond's Age Miracle Cell ReGen products) especially their facial wash and moisturizer. I swear by it's effects and they suit my skin type. I'm no vain in using beauty products. Sometimes because of my laziness I forget to apply it religiously. But as much as possible I slather some cream in my face because I have parts in my skin that tends to dry and too much oiliness in my T-zone. I'm afraid that when I get older my skin would not be that supple enough and wrinkles takes the stage. They say when you are in your 20's you have to take care of your skin and begin the 3-step beauty regimen of Cleanse, Tone and Moisturize including wearing sunblock. I'm blessed to have an acne-free skin but white and blackheads are visibly all over.

Prizes Revealed: Manila Baby Bags

In my post here, I joyously bragged about my loots as a giveaway winner from Ms. Jackie Go's blog anniversary. I was too excited to post it hence delaying the post of each items and posting it as a whole instead. But because I swear that each item deserves to be featured on its own, I'll start to introduce not only one but two wonderful and useful items not only for me but for my 2 kids. That's how generous Ms. Jackie is. She gave not only one but two Manila Baby bags! By the way the prizes I got were not only applicable for me but for my little ones as well.

As early as now, I have a bag prepared for my almost 3 year old daughter for school.
I find this truly nice and I can put a name tag on its front outside.

Prizes Revealed

This is my very much awaited loot that I won through Ms. Jackie Go of GoJackieGo blog. She had this anniversary giveaway and I'm one of the lucky five winners/ bloggers. Honestly, I didn't know which giveaway I won from the many prizes she gave away. But the mere fact that I won, I'm excited about it more so that it's a surprise prize (clueless of what is in store for me). Hence, I emailed Ms. Jackie and thankful for choosing me. She humbly and welcome my request asking her for a personalized note. And to my amazement, she personally volunteered to ship it to me instead of the sponsor for she'll be adding some stuffs to my prize.
